'Objectionable line to be deleted from Aaja Nachle song'

Makers of Aaja Nachle, banned by the UP Govt for its song allegedly humiliating Dalits, on Friday night decided to delete a particular line from the number.

Aaja Nachle

, which was banned by the Mayawati government in Uttar Pradesh for its song allegedly humiliating Dalits, on Friday night decided to delete a particular line from the number.



"We didn't set out to make a film which would offend any sensibility. It's not our intention to hurt any section of the society. We made the film in good spirit and faith. And if for some reason it offended the sensibilities of some people, then we have taken the decision to delete the line straightway", the film's director Anil Mehta said.
