Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow is tipped to share the stage with her mother Blythe Danner in the musical A Little Night Music.
Paltrow is being lined up to take over from Catherine Zeta-Jones as the leading actress in A Little Night Music on Broadway, reports telegraph.co.uk.
The producers are understood to be eager for her 67-year-old mother to perform the role currently played by Angela Lansbury, 84.
Paltrow has spoken of her stage ambitions in the past. "I look forward to playing Blanche DuBois [in the play A Streetcar Named Desire] on stage someday," she said in 2008. "I'd really like to do a musical."
