“Maybe some day we will portray gay people in Hindi films with the dignity they deserve. Tired of seeing them only used to evoke laughter in films,” tweeted Pooja.

Even her half-sister Alia’s debut Student Of The Year (SOTY), features Rishi Kapoor as a gay, with humorous overtones. His look is also homosexual — he is seen in pink shirts and lilac ties, which are typically a fun way of looking at those without a straight sexual orientation.
