Raja beats up girlfriend
Reality TV actor and Bhojpuri star Raja Chaudhary was arrested in Mumbai on Friday night for physically abusing ex-girlfriend, actor Shradha Sharma.
Actor Raja Chaudhary was arrested in Mumbai on Friday night for physically abusing ex-girlfriend, actor Shradha Sharma. While Chaudhary — a renowned reality TV actor and Bhojpuri star — was arrested and taken to the Oshiwara police station at night, Sharma is currently admitted at Sujay Hospital in Juhu, Mumbai.
“Raja entered her (Sharma’s) house forcefully and beat her up. Her left hand is fractured, her body is bruised and her face is swollen,” says Sharma’s spokesperson. He adds that though they broke up three months ago, Chaudhary now wants a reconciliation and wants to marry Sharma.
Just before his arrest, Chaudhary told

The complaint was registered by neighbours, when they noticed the ruckus. It may be recalled that Chaudhary courted controversy when he slapped his ex-wife, actor Shweta Tiwari, who then filed a case against him.
At the time of going to press, KMM Prasanna, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Mumbai, confirmed that Chaudhary had been sent to the general lock up. The police have also booked Sharma, but have not yet arrested her.
