Aamir Khan, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Sharman Joshi, Raageshwari Loomba, Abhinav Kashyap and Shantanu Moitra were among the few who attended the funeral.

“Raju Hirani’s father passed away this morning. He was a great inspiration to Raju and also to all of us!” Boman Hirani tweeted.

Rajkumar Hirani has been busy promoting his upcoming film Ferrari Ki Sawari these days. Hirani has written dialogues for the film directed by Rajesh Mapuskar.
