Rakhi Sawant in soup for calling Team Anna 'Raavan'

An IAC activist from Hisar has filed a police complaint against reality TV celebrity and item girl Rakhi Sawant for terming Team Anna core members as 'Kalyug ke Rawan.'

Manoj Karwasra, an activist of India Against Corruption and national awardee for his RTI activism, who is observing indefinite fast since August 16 here, has lodged a complaint with SP, Hisar against Rakhi Sawant, reality show celebrity and item girl, for calling Team Anna core members - Arvind Kejriwal, Kiran Bedi and Prashant Bhushan - "Kaliyug ke Rawan".

The SP has forwarded the complaint to Civil Line Police station for action on the complaint, confirmed public relations official of the police, Manbir Singh.

"At a time when the nation is passing through a historical and critical stage, Rakhi Sawant has tried to become famous through cheap publicity. Before casting aspersions on anyone, she should know the stature and sobriety of the persons concerned. She wants to remain in news for all wrong reasons," Manoj Karwasra said

Kejriwal, a former Indian Revenue Service officer, hails from Hisar.
