Two days back HT Café carried a story - Injured Ranbir Kapoor forced to stop shooting of Bombay Velvet. We reported how, during a heavy-duty training for street fighter role, the actor injured his back. “I’m on a week-long break. But I have some time as the filming only starts in about two months. I hope my back heals soon, so I can resume my training quickly,” said Ranbir. He has been visiting the physiotherapist regularly to ensure a speedy recovery. (READ THE STORY)
And today Mid-Day reports "the actor went through a minor surgery recently to get a cyst removed from his chest".
The tabloid quotes a source who confirms that the surgery took place on May 12 and that the actor still has a bandage around his chest.
