Ranbir Kapoor isn’t in pinkest of health, it seems.

The actor has apparently undergone a surgery to get a cyst removed from his chest.

Two days back HT Café carried a story - Injured Ranbir Kapoor forced to stop shooting of Bombay Velvet. We reported how, during a heavy-duty training for street fighter role, the actor injured his back. “I’m on a week-long break. But I have some time as the filming only starts in about two months. I hope my back heals soon, so I can resume my training quickly,” said Ranbir. He has been visiting the physiotherapist regularly to ensure a speedy recovery. (READ THE STORY)

And today Mid-Day reports "the actor went through a minor surgery recently to get a cyst removed from his chest".

The tabloid quotes a source who confirms that the surgery took place on May 12 and that the actor still has a bandage around his chest.

Has it led to any change of plan? Not quite as promotions for Ayan Mukherjee's Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani are underway in full swing.
