Elizabeth Hurley is spending the festive season in Australia with her fiancé Shane Warne and his family but she admits it will be strange to celebrate Christmas in a hot climate.

Elizabeth Hurley is spending the festive season in Australia with her fiancé Shane Warne and his family but she admits it will be strange to celebrate Christmas in a hot climate.

Despite the warm weather, Hurley and the Warne family have decided to go with a traditional English meal and have a roast turkey with all the trimmings.

“Spending my first Xmas in Australia this year. Very excited,” the Daily Telegraph quoted her as saying on twitter.

“Do Australians do the whole turkey/crackers/ Bing Crosby thing?” she said.

“Thanks for all the Aussie Xmas food advice: we’re going to attempt a trad English one. Future mother in law searching for an organic turkey,” she added.

However, Hurley is worried she won’t be able to enjoy Christmas in a house not decorated the way she is used to, and asked her twitter followers for advice on Christmas trees.

“Can u get real Christmas trees in Melbourne?!” she said.
