Cricketer Virender Sehwag, the only batsman in the world to score two triple centuries and take five wickets in an innings, wants to make sure his younger colleagues tie the knot really soon. “I think the youngsters, like Harbhajan, Yuvraj and Shreesanth, should get married now ... they’re all around 30,” says the 32-year-old, who got hitched at the age of 26.
And that’s not the only elder-like trait he seems to have acquired. He plans to set up his own training school soon enough. “I am opening a cricket academy in Jhajjar, Haryana, where I will teach young boys how to hit sixes,” says Sehwag, who has just started voice blogging via UTV Interactive. “I know my fans want to know about my personal life, so I’m really excited I’ll be chatting with them.” Is acting next? “No, I’m a cricketer and that is what I am good at.”
