, which takes place tonight, the ceremony saw in attendance actor and Imran’s uncle Aamir Khan, whose mother Zeenat and cousin Mansoor Khan played the hosts of the evening. Aamir’s wife Kiran Rao, too, came dressed in a colourful desi ensemble. Aamir and Kiran will, however, give the continuing celebrations in Phuket, a miss.

Also present at the sangeet were actors Minissha Lamba, Kunal Kapoor, Ashutosh Rana, Shahana Goswami and director Karan Johar.“It was an absolutely beautiful ceremony. I made it back to Mumbai only at 4am,” says designer Manish Malhotra, who attended the ceremony. Manish designed Avantika’s red lehenga.
