Shahid patches up with mom Neelima

It seems like the estranged mother-son are patching up after a long time and guess who's the reason behind it - Kaizer, Shahid's dog!

Yes, that's right. Shahid, who has been away in Scotland shooting for his father Pankaj Kapoor's film Mausam has asked mommy dearest to take care of the pooch in his absence.

The maa-beta haven't spoken to each other for years but now this seems to have changed for the better. A friend of Neelima's confirmed to Mumbai Mirror that she (Neelima) had been looking after Kaizer for the last fifteen days.

Apparently, Shahid likes to keep track of his dog by calling up his mother at least twice a day to instruct her about his food. But Neelima laughs it off saying, "Shahid knows that I can look after Kaizer better than he can," reported the tabloid.

In fact, it is believed that Neelima isn't the only one babysitting Shahid's dog but in her absence, her entire family has been pampering the pooch. So, it really is a dog's life!
