Actor Shah Rukh Khan rushed to Delhi from London early Monday morning as his wife Gauri’s father, RP Chibba, was hospitalised.

Actor Shah Rukh Khan rushed to Delhi from London early Monday morning as his wife Gauri’s father, RP Chibba, was hospitalised. According to sources, Chibba was taken to Max Healthcare, Saket, after a suspected heart attack and his condition was initially critical.

“Father in law better. He is a tough army man. Matters of heart complicated but not unsurmountable for him. inshaallah will be fit soon (sic),” SRK tweeted on Tuesday afternoon. Chibba is a retired Army Colonel.

Anjanna Kuthiala, a family friend of the Chibbas, says, “Shah Rukh and Gauri have not left his side for even a minute.”
