The actor-producer writes on Twitter, “For me, it will always remain a privilege and an honour to have brought India it’s first ever Miss Universe victory! Proud to be an Indian.” She also thanked her fans who remembered the day and wished her: “Thank u so much my darling friends for remembering the lanky tall girl 17 years later. I too celebrate this day with you in honour of our country!”
