There’s one person who seems to make actor Shahid Kapoor paranoid. Here's what happened at a promotional event for Chance Pe Dance.

From his acting prowess to his scintillating dance moves — actor Shahid Kapoor is a confident man. But there’s one person who seems to make the otherwise smooth-as-silk actor paranoid. No points for guessing — it’s actress Vidya Balan, who was reportedly dating the actor while the two were shooting for Kismat Konnection back in 2008.

explains, "A reporter asked Shahid for an autograph for his friend. Shahid took a notepad and pen and asked the journalist what his friend’s name was, to which he replied, ‘Bidya’. As soon as Shahid heard the name, which sounded like ‘Vidya’, Shahid returned the notepad, saying, ‘Sorry, I can’t give an autograph, ek aur controversy ho jaayega. Vaise hi itni baat ho rahi hai’.



Bidya Sapam, the girl who the autograph was meant for, wrote about the incident as her Facebook status. "Will somebody tell Shahid Kapur that I’m not Vidya Balan, nor do I write my name like hers? He refuses to sign autograph on my name," she wrote.



Sometime back, filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj messaged Shahid to tell him that he was looking "damn good" in Kaminey, and signed off as VB. Incidentally, Shahid used to address Vidya as VB. Surprised that Vidya had messaged, Shahid called her. When Vidya told him she had not messaged him, he started arguing with her. It was only when Vidya told him that it must be Vishal Bhardwaj that the actor understood.
