Vikram says no matter what he does, his wife thinks ‘Mohanlal does it better’
Actor Vikram spoke about Malayalam star Mohanlal while promoting his upcoming film Veera Dheera Sooran. Here's what he said.
Actors Vikram and Mohanlal’s upcoming films Veera Dheera Sooran and L2 Empuraan released on March 27. While promoting his film, Vikram revealed his wife, Shailaja Balakrishnan, is a massive fan of Mohanlal and is split about which film to watch first this Thursday. Vikram recently promoted the film in Kerala when he stated that he thinks it’s ‘healthy’ that both Veera Dheera Sooran and L2 Empuraan are releasing on the same day. He then revealed that his wife was a massive fan of the Malayalam superstar and said, “I am a huge fan of Lalettan, but my wife is a bigger fan than me. Whatever I do, and even if I do something very nice, she will say Mohanlal does it better. I asked her which film she would watch first (Veera Dheera Sooran or L2 Empuraan), and she said she would watch both.”
About Veera Dheera Sooran and L2 Empuraan
Veera Dheera Sooran, also stylised as Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2, is directed by SU Arun Kumar. The film will have a prequel, part 1, that has yet to go on floors. Apart from Vikram, the film also stars Suraj, SJ Suryah, Siddique, Dushara Vijayan and others in key roles. The action-drama has music composed by GV Prakash Kumar. It is yet to be announced when the first part will be released.
Prithviraj Sukumaran directs L2 Empuraan, which sees Mohanlal reprise his role as the mysterious Khureshi Ab'raam / Stephen Nedumpally from the 2019 film Lucifer. The film features a star cast including Prithviraj, Abhimanyu Singh, Tovino Thomas, Manju Warrier, Jerome Flynn, Indrajith, Kaarthikeyaa Dev, Kishore Kumar G, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and Fazil. A third film has also been planned, which has yet to go on floors.
