Techies’ delight
Engifest 2011, Delhi Technological University’s annual festival, was marked by fun, frolic and rocking music.
Engifest 2011 — the four-day annual festival of Delhi Technological University — was marked by dance, music and a thrilling rock show. The fest was kicked off by theme-based events that comprised dance and theatre. The actual action began on Day 3 of the fest, when events such as, Sur (Indian singing competition), Glissando (Western music competition) and Tranz (instrumental competition) rocked the campus.
The day was wrapped up with the fashion parade, where students walked the ramp. Dance competitions marked the fourth day of the fest. It was concluded with an awesome performance by the band Breathe The Floyd Sound. Engifest also hosted a celebrity night, where singer Suraj Jagan sang his popular track — Give me some sunshine — from the film 3 Idiots. Pop singer Hard Kaur also performed and enthralled the crowds.
