Actor Rashmika Mandanna recently recuperated at home after sustaining a hip injury while shooting Mysaa. She posted about it in August and claimed that it had happened a ‘while ago’. The actor made her first public appearance since then at the engagement of Sirgapoor Niranjan Reddy’s son. Her husband, actor Vijay Deverakonda, was right by her side, holding her hand as she made her way through the venue.

Politician-producer-advocate Niranjan’s son, Sahil Reddy, got engaged in Hyderabad. Rashmika and Vijay attended the event, twinning in dark outfits. She wore a black-and-gold anarkali paired with a dupatta, while he opted for a bandhgala. Vijay was seen holding Rashmika’s hand as she walked through the venue and giggled at something he had said. The couple was flanked by security, and numerous other guests were also present at the engagement ceremony.
Fans were thrilled and relieved to see Rashmika out and about, with one fan writing on X (formerly Twitter), “Cutu is looking so gorgeous and fit, but if you look closely, she’s still limping a little and not 100% fully recovered yet. It might take a bit more time for her to be completely back to full strength, but I'm so happy seeing her recover this fast.” Another fan wrote, “Seeing my girl after a very long time. Recover fast @iamRashmika, we are all missing you here.”
“Ahh wow, such a sweet start to the day. Waking up to this adorable video of #ViRosh together at a wedding function in Hyd made my whole morning. Cutu Looking 100% fit and glowing. Pure smiles,” wrote one excited fan. “Whatta way to start this week. Looks like our 50% Rashu mam is fit. I hope doctor tell her to take at least 2.3 weeks rest,” read a comment. “Our girl is doing so fine finally. Look at them holding hands and laughing together,” wrote one fan with evil eye emojis.
About Rashmika Mandanna’s injury
“Injuries suck.. and I was really hoping that no one will get to know.. but well,” wrote Rashmika on August 3 on her Instagram account after news leaked at the end of July that she was injured. “It happened awhile ago ya and this is my 3rd injury back to back..I should definitely learn to treat my body like a human body and not some machine..” she added.
Rashmika also explained that her right hip tendon detached while she was shooting a song for Mysaa. “my god that’s the most aggressive film I’ve ever done for sure!” she wrote. The actor assured fans that she was recuperating during the ‘forced holiday’. “It’s amazing how when you are hustling your days away the other side which is ‘slowing down’ seems scary but when you are pushed into ‘slowing down’ - the hustling like a crazy person now seems scary,” she wrote, a week later.
Last seen in Cocktail 2, the actor also has Ranabaali lined up.
