Eminent painter of Indian origin, MF Husain, was smitten by many Bollywood beauties. Anushka Sharma and Amrita Rao were the latest to join the bandwagon. Madhuri Dixit, Vidya Balan, Tabu and Urmila Matondkar too were on his hitlist at different times. We remember the Picasso of India through his muses.
MF Husain was so impressed by her performance in Band Baaja Baaraat, that he saw the film over and over again. He wished to paint her and name it Punjab Ki Kudi.
The renowned painter became an ardent fan of Rao after watching Vivaah. He ranked her second after Madhuri Dixit, who for him is Indian beauty personified. Amrita was on cloud nine since she always dreamt of being one of Husain's favourites.
The artist was besotted with Vidya Balan and wanted to paint her in the nude. He was impressed by the quintessential Indian beauty's performance in Ishqiya.
Husain was in love with the Rangeela girl. After Gaja Gamini and Meenaxi: Tale Of 3 Cities, he wanted to make his third film in comic genre with the star.
The critically acclaimed actress Tabu was one of Husain's muse who featured in his second film Meenaxi : Tale Of 3 Cities.
After Hum Aapke Hain Kaun, Maduri Dixit became Husain's favourite muse. The actress also starred in his first feature film Gaja Gamini. The painter had painted a whole series of the actress.
