Seems Kangy’s Knock Out and Tanu Weds Manu were initially scheduled to release on October 1. But thanks to hero Sanjay Dutt’s dosti with Ajay Devgn, he told producer Sohail Maklai to avoid a clash with Aakrosh and push their film by two weeks.
After this, the lissome lass didn’t have to pester Shailesh Singh to delay the release of Tanu Weds Manu… just one request was enough to make him understand the importance of time to market and promote the film properly.
More so since the story is about marriage, her film with Madhavan and Jimmy Sheirgill has been scheduled to open in December, when the wedding season is on in full swing. Chalo, good for her.
