Model-turned actress Freida Pinto refutes the rumours that she is dating her Slumdog Millionaire co-star Dev Patel. She said they are just "good friends".

"We are good friends. It has been an wonderful journey," Freida told reporters as she walked the red carpet with Dev.

While Dev was dressed in a tux, Freida, who made it to No. 1 on Vogue's 'Ten Best Dressed' list, walked the red carpet in a royal blue John Galliano gown with sequined detailing.

"I never ever imagined to walk red carpet at the Oscars. I never imagined it'll happen. I will keep my fingers crossed for Slumdog Millionaire," she added.

Freida, who plays key role in Slumdog Millionaire, doesn't have an Oscar nomination, but she is there to support her team. The film has got 10 nomination.
