It’s all about colour this season, and if pop art guru Andy Warhol was alive, he would give a big thumbs up to our Bollywood brigade. Actors Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone and Preity Zinta have been sporting the look with panache.

And, not just the ladies, Bollywood’s leading men Ranbir Kapoor and Imran Khan are also rocking coloured pants.

Designer Jenjum Gadi, who often sports his signature red pants, says, “Not only Bollywood, coloured pants are a hot trend across the board. When styling, avoid doing the top and bottom in the same palette.” Designer Nida Mahmood suggests on-trend hues: “Pastel shades, lilac, pale orange and burnt maroons. Powder blue looks brilliant too.”

Designer Kiran Jaisinghani adds, “Make sure the pants are cropped and the fit compliments your body.”
