The Hollywood actress was a part of glamorous photoshoot on Los Angele's Malibu beach for her covershot wearing a plum gown to match her red hair, Daily Mail reported.

Kidman has long been a Vogue favourite having appeared on the cover numerous times during her 20-year career and most recently graced the front page in July to promote her film Australia.

The 41-year-old actress who has a seven month old daughter with singer husband Keith Urban protected her porcelain complexion with a parasol while shooting on the sunny beach.
