Yusuf Poulsen made the difference as he scored the only goal vs Peru as Denmark got off to a winning start. Peru played an attacking game but it was Denmark’s more measured approach that saw them take home all three points. In a game that was largely devoid of any drama - save for Christian Cueva missing a penaly badly - one always got the feeling that the game could have been settled by one goal and so it proved.
