A 5-year-old girl was brutally raped and then abandoned near Sikanderpur Metro station on Saturday evening.

A 5-year-old girl was brutally raped and then abandoned near Sikanderpur Metro station on Saturday evening.
As per joint commissioner of police Maheshwar Dayal, the minor was abducted by an unknown man from Bristol Chowk where she had gone to eat at a public kitchen (bhandara), and he later raped her.
The girl was brought to Civil Hospital with severe genital injuries, “We examined her to find that her private parts were torn. She had been bleeding profusely,” said Dr Sanjay Narula, of Civil Hospital, Gurgaon.
The victim, who is now conscious and stable, has been referred to Safdarjung Hospital in New Delhi, for plastic surgery.
