Gurgaon: special kids shine

As part of an awareness campaign, children suffering from autism showcased their talents on the stage at a school here on Tuesday.


The young artistes displayed their skills in dance, clay modeling, music and other performance through the Unifying Hearts campaign organised by the Scottish High International School, Sector 56.

“Every call needs a revolution, sometimes the clamour is silent,” said the chairperson of the school, Kartikay Saini.

The speakers at the event were drawn from various fields. The campaign highlighted the challenges faced by the children and how they have been struggling relentlessly, carrying on with their study and therapies.

“These children need us to listen, understand, accept and love them. They only want what everyone gets - a chance, said Bakhtawar Saini, president, head of the school’s integrated department.
