Police said a molestation case has been registered and the accused were produced in city court on Saturday.

According to the police, the victim was desperately in need of a job after being fired from another Menasar factory where she worked as a cleaner.

The victim told police that she was depressed as she was in need of a job and went to the factory, which is located close to one where she was emplotyed earlier, to enquire if it had openings for cleaning staff.

She alleged that Arun Kumar, a security guard posted at the factory, lured her inside the factory on the pretext of taking her around the place and kissed her.

“The victim got scared as there was nobody around at the factory at the time and left. However, she returned the next day, June 14, and lodged a complaint with the guard’s supervisor,” ASI Munesh, the investigating officer in the case, said.

To her surprise, the supervisor told her that there was nothing serious about what happened to her and such acts keep happening. He also caught hold of her and kissed her,” the police officer said.
