District town planner (DTP) Gurugram RS Bhatth said, “I have asked the developer to submit by Monday the cost to be incurred on the maintenance of the colony and a deadline for the completion of the work. The meeting was called to address complaints of the residents.”

The residents of Uniworld Garden had raised concerns after huge chunk of plasters fall off several balconies on August 2.

Sandeep Roy, a senior executive of Unitech, who attended the meeting, said, “We are not authorised to speak to the media. I will not say anything in this regard.”

Unitech Limited offered possessions of apartments at Uniworld Garden 2 in 2016. There are 16 towers with 14 floors each. The project was launched in 2009.

Joginder Singh, president of RWA, said, “We hope the developer will follow instructions by the DTP officials. We are shocked to see plaster coming off the newly constructed building. The towers need a fresh layer of plaster.”

Uniworld Garden is plush residential complex in Sector 47, nearly 2.5 km from Rajiv Chowk on Delhi-Gurugram expressway.
