Britney Spears checks out of rehab

The troubled pop singer has been reportedly released from the Malibu Treatment Centre.

Troubled pop singer Britney Spears, who checked into the Promises Malibu Treatment Centre in the US last month, has been released officially.

Spears' manager Larry Rudolph confirmed the news, reports www.hollywood.tv.

Rudolph said: "Spears has been released by the Promises Malibu Treatment Centre after successfully completing their programme. We ask the media to respect her privacy as well as that of her family and friends at this time."
