Here's how to get glowing with facial yoga

Call it gymming for your face or just a less expensive, natural way to get healthy skin — facial yoga is emerging as a popular beauty trend.
With yoga groups and fitness centres in the city offering this beauty workout, here are a few yoga excercises to tone your face. All you need is to take out a couple of minutes throughout the day to practice these moves. 1. The Forehead Smoother Benefit:
Prevents wrinkles by relaxing the forehead muscles and using acupressure to remove tension.- Make a fist with both hands. Place the middle and index finger knuckles in the center of your forehead and apply firm pressure.- Maintain the pressure as you slowly slide your fists out to each side.- End by gently pressing your knuckles into your temples.- Repeat four more times.
2. The GiraffeBenefit:
This move works out your lower jaw area and takes of the double chin.Instruction:- Tilt the head back while stroking your neck. - Bring the head down. Repeat twice, then jut lower lip, place fingers on collarbone and point chin upwards, pulling corners of mouth down. - Hold for four deep breaths.- Repeat three more times.
3. The Face Lift Benefit:
Smooths the nasolabial fold lines (aka smiles lines) and lifts the eyes and cheeks.Instructions:- Place both palms on your temples.- Push your hands up and back, lifting the sides of your face.- Open your mouth and make an “O” shape. Drop your jaw to make your face as long as possible.- Hold this pose for five seconds. - Repeat two more times.
4. The Neck LiftBenefit:
Tightens the neck and jawline to prevent sagging and firm up double chins.Instructions:- Pucker your lips over to one side as much as you can (you should feel a stretch in your cheek).- Turn your head to that side, lifting your head up at about a 45-degree angle. Feel the stretch in your neck.- Hold the pose for three seconds. - Repeat on the other side.
5. The V Benefit:
Removes puffiness from the under-eye area as well as smoothens out the crow’s feet near your eyes.Instructions:- Make a ‘V’ sign by positioning fingers at each end of the eyebrows and create a squint. - Relax and repeat six more times. - Finish by squeezing eyes shut for ten seconds.
