Kiwi has a high amount of flavonoids that help protect our cells from oxidative damage and are hence considered helpful in protecting the human DNA from mutations.
Consuming kiwi can also reduce the risk of developing an eye related disease called ARMD (a primary cause of vision impairment especially in adults).
The dietary fibre content of kiwi is also known to reduce cholesterol levels, reducing the risk of a cardiovascular disease and lowering the probability of a heart attack.
