Daniel Craig ‘to crack jokes’ in new James Bond flick Skyfall

Daniel Craig, the grumpy actor who last cracked a smile in the late-Eighties, has revealed that James Bond director Sam Mendes is bringing back the classic 007 one-liners in Skyfall.

Daniel Craig, the grumpy actor who last cracked a smile in the late-Eighties, has revealed that James Bond director Sam Mendes is bringing back the classic 007 one-liners in Skyfall.



The new James Bond flick will supposedly be the 44-year-old actor’s toughest as he has to tell some jokes.

"Comedy in Bond films, for me, comes out of the situations people get into," the Sun quoted him as saying.



"They’re exciting, hopefully heart-stopping, and the comedy comes out of one-liners and things.



"When Sam came in, it was key for all of us that there was a lightness of touch in the writing that had not been as evident in the past two films," he added.
