First reactions to Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk have arrived, and they’re rapturous in admiration of Nolan’s craft.

Christopher Nolan’s new film, Dunkirk, will arrive in theatres on July 21, but sensing an opportunity, Warner Bros allowed the few critics who have seen the film to post comments about it on the social media.

The first screening for the war movie was held over the weekend, and the social media embargo was lifted soon after. The reactions, as can be expected from a film by the director of the Dark Knight trilogy, Inception and Interstellar, are ecstatic.
