Kim Basinger to star with De Niro and Stallone in Grudge Match

Kim Basinger has nabbed the lead female role in upcoming sports drama Grudge Match, reveals Variety. The film will revolve around the fight between two aging boxers, portrayed by Robert De Niro and Sylvester Stallone, who are coaxed out of retirement to get back in the ring.
Basinger will portray a woman caught in between the two boxers. Kevin Hart (Think Like a Man) is also part of the cast as the fight promoter.
Grudge Match will be directed by Peter Segal (Get Smart). De Niro and Stallone are no strangers to boxing films: their early efforts Raging Bull (1980) and Rocky (1976), respectively, helped both actors rise to Hollywood fame.
