Rihanna begins filming for Ocean’s Eight in massive dreadlocks

Singer-actor Rihanna has begun shooting for the all-female reboot of 2001 comedy Ocean’s Eleven.

The 28-year-old star showed up for work on the set of the film on Tuesday in New York City, reported Aceshowbiz.

Donning a black fur coat, trousers and Timberland boots, RiRi was pictured heading to a make-up trailer. In several images surfacing online, Rihanna could be seen sporting a massive dreadlock extension.

Cate Blanchett and Sandra Bullock were also snapped on the Big Apple set the day before. The two Oscar-winning superstars were the first to begin filming last Tuesday, before they werejoined by another cast member, Helena Bonham Carter.

Plot details about the film are still scarce.

Ocean’s Eight is directed by Gary Ross from a screenplay he co-wrote with Olivia Milch. Also starring Mindy Kaling, Anne Hathaway and Awkwafina, the action flick is set for a June 8, 2018 release in US theatres.
