Agra: 3 killed, 2 injured after car crashes into Agra-Lucknow Expressway divider

Three people were killed and two injured after a car carrying five from Delhi to Ballia crashed into a divider on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway in Agra.

Three people were killed and two others injured after a car carrying five people from Delhi to Ballia crashed into a divider on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway in Uttar Pradesh’s Agra district on Saturday morning, police said.

Three people died and two were injured after a speeding car travelling from Delhi to Ballia crashed into a divider on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway.

There were five people in the car, who were travelling from Delhi towards Ballia, but the speeding car went out of control and rammed into the divider near Nagla Devhans under Doki police station, an officer said.

Sub-Inspector of Agra’s Doki police station Suneet Sharma said that information about the accident was received at 7.44 am on Saturday about a road accident at Nagla Devhans on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway.

“Three were dead in the accident of the car bearing registration no. DL8CAL4294 which seemingly went uncontrolled in high speed. Two of the injured, identified as Yashwant and Chandra Kant were rescued from damaged car,” said Sharma. Chandra was driving the car.

The three deceased were identified as Bhupendra, Jai Prakash and Kapil. Their bodies were found in a roadside ditch and they died on the spot.
