Delhi reports 531 fresh Covid cases on Friday, and three deaths. The cumulative tally of the national capital has risen to 19,39,758 now, according to the health bulletin data.

Tripura CM  Manik Saha on Friday sworn in as an MLA after winning the bypolls from Town Bardowali constituency. Assembly speaker Ratan Chakraborty administered Saha oath of office at the assembly lobby. The results of the bypolls were declared on June 26. NDA's presidential nominee Droupadi Murmu on Friday arrived in the capital city of Uttar Pradesh Lucknow to campaign. She reached the city a day after opposition's candidate Yashwant Sinha came. Murmu was received at the airport by UP CM Yogi Adityanath and other top BJP leaders and state ministers. Earlier in the day, Murmu had lunch with BJD supremo and Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik, who called her the eastern state's pride.
