J&K: Kashmiri Pandit shopkeeper injured after being shot by terrorists in Shopian

Officials said Army and police personnel rushed to the village on receiving the information about the attack.

Terrorists fired upon a Kashmiri Pandit shopkeeper and injured him in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday, officials said as per news agency PTI.

The man, identified as Bal Krishnan of Chotigam village in Shopian, suffered injuries in his hand and leg. He was taken to an Army hospital in Srinagar where doctors stated his condition to be stable, PTI reported.

Officials told PTI that Army and police personnel rushed to the village on receiving the information about the attack on the Kashmiri Pandit shopkeeper.

In another incident, a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel was killed and another injured in a terrorist attack at Maisuma in Srinagar's Lal Chowk on Monday. Both the injured personnel were taken to the hospital where one of them succumbed to his injuries.
