Gautam Raghuvanshi (91.17%) of Kanpur and Tanu Tomar (97.80%) of Baghpat topped the high school and intermediate examinations respectively of the UP Board, the results of which were declared on Saturday. Like many previous years, girls outdid boys in both the examinations by registering a pass percentage of 83.98% vis-à-vis 76.66% attained by boys in high school examination.
In Intermediate, too, girls secured a pass percentage of 76.46% while boys could manage to register only 64.40% results. Of the total 31,92,587 who registered for high school, 22,73,304 students cleared the exam, this include 11,63,735 boys and 11,09,569 girls. In intermediate, of the total 26,03,169 who registered, a total of 16,47,919 students, including 8,03,330 boys and 8,44,58 girls, cleared the exam. P3
