1 die, 5 injured in road accident
One student was killed and five others were injured when their car rammed into railing of culvert near village Khudda Ambala Cantonment on the Dehradu-Ambala National Highway early today.
One student was killed and five others were injured when their car rammed into railing of culvert near village Khudda Ambala Cantonment on the Dehradu-Ambala National Highway early today.
The deceased was identified as Suraj Nain.Two of the injured were referred to the PGIMER
Chandigarh, while remaining three were admitted to civil hospital Ambala Cantonment for treatment.
The injured were identified as Abhinav of Amritsar,Toshar Yamunanagar, Rohit Aggarwal, Raghav Verma both from Delhi and Pankaj from Panipat.
The accident occurred when the car driver lost control over the vehicle on noticing a truck coming from opposite side and rammed into the railing of culvert. The car was badly damaged and went upside down. Suraj was killed on the spot, while others were injured seriously. All the injured
were rushed to the hospital where Suraj was declared brought dead.
The police have registered a case.
