The departmental promotion committee on Saturday cleared the names of three 1973 batch IAS officers for promotion to the Chief Secretary?s grade.

However, the name of one officers has been deferred for consideration due to want of his two ACRs.

The meeting at Mantralaya decided to take up his case after his ACRs are submitted by the General Administration Department.

Officers, whose names were recommended for promotion, include Pradeep Bhargava, Rekha Bhargava and Satyanand Mishra. S C Bhardhan name has been deferred for consideration.

As Pradeep Bhargava has been considered for promotion, he is likely to be shifted from the post of Development Commissioner to the NVDA.
