Abdullah takes jibe at Sushma, says ‘my father dances better than her’
J&K chief minister Omar Abdullah today took a jibe at BJP’s senior leader Sushma Swaraj, saying “my father is a better dancer than her”. HT reports.
J&K chief minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday took a jibe at BJP’s senior leader Sushma Swaraj, saying “my father is a better dancer than her”.
“Having now seen the videos I have no doubt at all that my dad is a better dancer than,” said Omar while tweeting on micro blogging site Twitter.
Swaraj, who is also leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha, was spotted dancing and singing patriotic songs during the sit in of the BJP at Mahatma Gandhi's memorial Rajghat recently.
The J&K chief minister last week started following Swaraj on the Twitter. “Glad (that) dance (is) now (an) acceptable protest,” wrote Omar, who was a Union minister during the National Democratic Alliance government led by the BJP and has closely worked with the party.
The chief minister drew the parallel because his father Abdullah has a knack for joining dancing people to shake a leg or two.
Senior Abdullah, who is Union minister for new and renewable energy at present, is known for his flamboyance and loves to sing and dance with the common man to movie stars at gatherings.
