District Magistrate Dr Hariom has directed subordinate officials to implement election code of conduct strictly.

Meanwhile, municipal corporation campus is also humming with political activities where 500 applications were filed in last two days for obtaining no objection certificate from the corporation.

Assistant municipal commissioner Gopikrishna Srivastav said the certificates would be distributed from September 29 and claimed that around 1000 applications are likely to be submitted from the aspirants.
