Ahead of the Railway Budget, Rail Minister Lalu Prasad on Wednesday came in for lavish praise from Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

Winding up the debate on the motion of thanks to the President's address in Lok Sabha, Singh spoke about the turnaround in the Railways brought by Prasad amid thumping of desks by treasury benches.
The Opposition BJP had already staged a walkout.
The Prime Minister's remarks prompted Chairman Bhairon Singh Shekhawat to quip that the Railway Minister should have brought his wife Rabri Devi to the House to watch the proceedings.
