Another anganwadi worker in Orissa has been accused of beating up a 3-year-old boy in Orissa's Ganjam district, the police said.

Another anganwadi worker in Orissa has been accused of beating up a 3-year-old boy in Orissa's Ganjam district, the police said.

A case was registered against Pramoda Behera, the accused anganwadi worker, at Kabisurya Nagar police station, sources said.

The anganwadi worker beat up Jiban Nahak (3) at the anganwadi center at Jakara village on Tuesday. The child was admitted at Polsara hospital.

Nahak's mother has lodged an FIR against the anganwadi worker, the police said.

It was fourth such incidents in the state, where the school children have been victimised by the teachers and the anganwadi workers in the last 15 days.
