Bihar Chief Secretary to act as Governor's adviser
Governor has authorised Chief Secretary KAH Subramanian to act as his special adviser till the final appointments are made.
Amid the reported tussle between RJD President Lalu Prasad and his bitter rival Ramvilas Paswan over the issue of appointments of advisers in Bihar, Governor Buta Singh has authorised Chief Secretary KAH Subramanian to act as his special adviser till the final appointments are made.

State cabinet coordination department secretary Vijoy Prakash said that a notification to this effect was issued by his department following the Governor's order last evening.
Even a week after the state being placed under president's rule, the posts of advisers are vacant reportedly due to ongoing tussle between Lalu Prasad and the LJP Chief who want appointments of advisers of their choice.
Singh had said "the delay in appointments of advisers will not be allowed to come in the way of smooth functioning of administration to tackle law and order and speed up pace of development.
Subramanian would now look after the work of adviser in day-to-day government functioning, official sources said.
Without the appointments of full-fledged advisers, it has increasingly been difficult to clear several government schemes and release funds for the execution of various development projects.
The Governor has also made development Commissioner GS Kang chairman of the Empowered Economic Committee.
