The BJP-JDS coalition is slated to seek trust vote in the assembly on February 8.

Speaking to reporters, Kumaraswamy said he would visit New Delhi on February 13 or 14 during which he would call on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. He would also meet top BJP leaders, he said.

The Chief Minister said ideological differences with the coalition partner BJP would not come in the way of good governance, pointing out that what's important is being responsive to people's problems and aspirations.

Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa has indicated that he would hold the finance portfolio.

Addressing BJP legislators representing Bangalore, he said since he would be Finance Minister, he would give special priority for improvement of the city's infrastructure.
