Replying to the issue raised by the Luxor MLA, Kunwar Pranab Singh Champion, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prakash Pant said the charge sheet against the Congress member has already been filed in the court after investigations and since the matter is pending in the court, it could not be discussed in the House.

Raising the issue during zero hour, Champion said he was invited as chief guest in a body building competition held at Mangalore area of Haridwar on January 10, this year, during which somebody fired gun shots to encourage the participants there. Two days after, he came to know that a case against him was registered in the local police station under 30 Arms Act.

Champion alleged that he was being harassed by the BJP government as he belongs to the Opposition Congress party.
