China's President Hu Jintao on Sunday condemned this weekend's terrorist bombings in India and expressed sympathy for the victims and their families, in a telegram to President APJ Abdul Kalam, the Foreign Ministry said. Hu offered "heartfelt condolences" to India on behalf of the Chinese government and people, the Ministry said in a statement on its Web site.

"The Chinese government condemns terrorism in all forms," it added.

China "is willing to jointly fight against terrorism and maintain world peace and stability with the international community including India," it said.

Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao and Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing also sent their own messages of sympathy, the Ministry said.
