City celebrates Sonia?s victory
SEVERAL ORGANISATIONS of the city celebrated the victory of Congress president Sonia Gandhi in Rae Bareli elections on Thursday. The Uttar Pradesh Yuvak Congress (UPYC) launched a calendar in the city. UPYC general secretary Dr Shailendra Dixit expressed happiness at Sonia Gandhi?s victory in Rae Bareli elections. Dixit said that the calendar has the slogan, which expressed that honesty is still a valuable thing. And Sonia Gandhi also follows the path of honesty.

The Uttar Pradesh Yuvak Congress (UPYC) launched a calendar in the city. UPYC general secretary Dr Shailendra Dixit expressed happiness at Sonia Gandhi’s victory in Rae Bareli elections. Dixit said that the calendar has the slogan, which expressed that honesty is still a valuable thing. And Sonia Gandhi also follows the path of honesty. He added that people should support Sonia Gandhi for a golden future.
Several others including Vinod Singh, Raju Sinha, Sushil Dwivedi, Vimla Chauhan, Nischal Jha also expressed their happiness for the occasion.
Members of the Kanpur Mahanagar Congress Committee shouted slogan in support of Sonia Gandhi’s victory. The members also distributed sweets. City Congress president Abdul Mannan, Sharad Mishra, Ikbal Ahmed and Shankar Dutt said the victory would bring prosperity and development in the area.
Meanwhile, all-India Rahul Gandhi Fans Association president Shakir Ali Usmani, also expressed happiness at Sonia Gandhi’s victory and congratulated the people of Rae Bareli.
