According to General Manager NCR, Budh Prakash, "It is just a precautionary measure that will help in controlling any kind of untoward happening in the premises of the station".

For this, we will also be setting up a monitor room at the station, where the railway employees will be deployed round the clock, said the General Manager NCR.

In this regard, a meeting of the officers will be held soon, where the entire scheme and its related issues including spots where the close circuit cameras will be installed and the number of the cameras will be finalised. Besides, the officers concerned will be assigned the responsibility, he said.

"Once made functional the cameras will continue to operate even after the Ardh Kumbh fair", said the GM, NCR.
